#Scene1 (How the conflict began)
There
were a lot of love story and this is one of them. How would you feel if you saw
your girlfriend was cheating on you? It would hurt more when someone who
betrayed you was your own best friend, wasn’t it? And here’s the story began.
(While
Jio was eavesdropping)
Arka : You can hold my words, Lily. (Holding her
hands)
Lily :
… (Nod; leaving)
(Jio
took a deep breath then approached towards them; hands clenched)
Jio : What was that? Just in case I was
misheard.
Arka : (Sighed) No, you didn’t. Leave her.
Jio : What? (Smirk) I tell you. The one who
should leave is you. (Pointing finger)
Arka : Listen boy, she deserves someone better
than you. (Pushed Jio’s left chest with pointing finger) and it is me.
Jio : I’ve told you. What’s mine is mine. I
don’t share. (Grabbed Arka’s shirt collar)
Arka : Sorry not sorry but she’s mine now
Jio : … (Smirk while rolling eyes; hand clenched;
looked at Arka; punched arka)
Arka : (Fell backwards; wiping his bleeding lips) how come she has been
with you for a couple years. (Smirk) childish! Let her go, boy.
Jio : (Grabbed Arka’s shirt
collar to make he stood up) Never. Unless she ask right in front of me. (Punched
Arka) Listen! This childish man has been beside her for years. And you? Who you
are? Shame on you little sh*t!
Arka :
(Brushed
off Jio’s hand on his collar; punched Jio)
Blood
boiled in mixture of anger and disappointment. Jio couldn’t understand what was
going on. Did his best friend and girlfriend just cheat him? So there was him,
under the water. Couldn’t breathing well. He need his Lily to pull him out. To
save him because he couldn’t swim on his own. Almost drowning in his feeling.
Jio : … (Sat under the shower; hands bleed) (Screamed)
(Chin on chest) (Stood up; turned the shower off; walked to the mirror) Someone
better? (Watched his self in the mirror; no expression; laughed in sudden)

#Scene2 (Showed Jio’s dilemma and the
reason why Lily pretended that she cheated on Jio)
A
day after, there were Arka and Lily met Jio, on the hospital basement. Still
inside of the car.
(While
Jio came with his car)
/In
the car/
Lily : (Get her face closer to Arka’s lips) I
told you… (Touched the injured lips)
Arka :
Akh... (Pretending that he hurts; hold Lily’s hand) haha it’s okay Lily, I’m
fine
Lily :
It’s not funny at all, you know! (Pushed Arka’s chest)
Arka
: Akhh... (Pretending
that he hurts; hold her hand; place it on his chest) this is hurts more tha Jio
did, hm (Saw Jio was watching; glanced at Lily and Jio alternately) (Pulled
Lily to his embrace; smile) let me hug you for a while, Jio is watching us.
Lily :
Jio?
Arka :
Hum …(Mess her hair gently)
Lily : …. (Nod; returned his hug) Arka, thank you.
Arka :
Anytime
sweetie, hey I just realize…
Lily :
Realize,
what?
Arka : (Let off his hug;
pretending confused) I just mention his name once but he already here.
Shouldn’t it 3 times?
Lily :
Are
you trying to call him a ghost or what? (Looked at Arka sharply; pouting)
Arka :
Haha
(flicked her forehead) don’t trying to be cute, little girl
Lily :
Aakhh...
(Covered her forehead)
(Jio
approached)
Jio : Sh*t! (Punched his
chest) (Holding the steer wheel tight; got out of the car; moved towards them)

front door of the car where Lily sat/
Jio :
Lily,
we need to talk. Just two of us.
Lily :
(Looked
towards Arka)
Arka :
(Glanced
at Jio then Lily; nod)
Lily :
(Got
out of the car)
Jio :
(Grabbed
Lily’s hand; lead her to his car)

Jio’s car/
Jio :
Don’t
you want to explain what’s going on?
Lily :
(Still
didn’t want to look at Jio) what do you to hear from me? Isn’t it clear enough?
Jio : Clear? What’s wrong with
you?! Tell me this is just a mistake and I assume nothing happened.
Lily : This is not a mistake,
Jio. This is a choice! And I choose him! Is it clear now?! (Stared at Jio)
Jio : What are you talking
about? (Sighed; massage his temple) Are you aware of what just you said?
Lily :
Let
me go (Holding her tear)
Jio :
Plea-
(Holding her shoulder)
Lily : (Brushed off Jio’s hands)
LET ME GO, JIO! Please? I’ve been wasting my time with you for 2 f*cking years!
Isn’t it enough for you?!
Jio : Wasting your time?! I thought
you were- (Sighed) okay. Find your happiness. But you know I’d never leaving. (Smirk) you
know? The one who should shout is me. The one who should mad is me. It’s funny find
myself loving you this way.
Lily :
I’m
sorry… (Looked on the ground)
Jio :
No,
don’t say sorry unless you mean it.
Lily :
I
have to go (Wiped off her tear; got out of the car)
Jio : (Pressed his temple;
punched the steer; sighed) How could you do this, Lily... (Step the pedals;
drove off to his apartment)
Didn’t
need no longer than 30 minutes, Jio drove off in rush to get home.
(Jio
arrived at his apartment)
Jio : (Entered the room; took off his denim jacket;
threw it roughly to the bed) aarrrrgghh!! Why Arka?! Why him!
Jio : (Sat on the bed side;
grabbed a frame on the table) Don’t you
remember what we have been through, Lily? (Rubbed the frame gently) Don’t you
love me anymore? (Smirk; rolling his eyes) huh, how could you hurt me this way...
Jio : (Stood up; walk back and
forth while massage his temple) what should I do Lily? Should I let you go or what?
WHAT DO YOU WANT?!! (Screamed; slammed the frame; out of breath)
Jio : (Swept all the book and
stuffs on the table with hands) aarggh (Grabbed the chair; slammed the mirror
with the chair) (Grabbed all the stuffs and mess the room)
Jio :
(Sat
down limply; staring at the messy room with blurry eyes)
Meanwhile,
in the same second but different place. In the corner of the room she sat. Even
when the sky covered of grey clouds with lightning. Still, she wishing for a
shooting star above. So she could close her eyes and asked The God above to
give her a second chance.
Lily :
(Sat
near the window; hug her knees tightly) Jio... I’m sorry.
Lily : (Combed her hair with her
fingers; hands trembling; staring her hair loss on her hand with blurry eyes) I
don’t wanna go, please... (Cried) I don’t want to leave him..
Lily :
(Sighed)
No, Lily (Shaking head) just a little bit more. Come on!
Lily : (Grabbed a frame; staring
at the frame sadly) I’m so sorry... (Rubbed the frame gently) I love you...
(Hugged the frame; cried) (Fainted)
Knock… Knock… Knock…
Arka : (Knocked Lily’s door)
Lily? (Knocked the door) Lily it’s me. (Knocked the door a bit hard) Lily are
you okay?! Lily!
Arka : (Step back; broke the door
twice until it opened) Lily? (Came in; looked around; eyes rounded) Lily!! (Approached
towards her; shook her shoulder gently) Lily? Hey, wake up. Lily? Come on... (Saw the frame; took it from her) Jio? You
should think about yourself first instead of him. (Carrying her like a bridal
style; took her to the hospital)
All
the bad possibility that might happened popped up on Arka’s thought.

the hospital/
Arka : (Came in while carrying
Lily; step in hurry; looked around) help please! Someone please save her!
(Nurses
came with a gurney)
Arka :
(Laid
her down to gurney) I found her lost her consciousness. Save her, please!
Nurse :
We’ll
do our best.
(They
pushed the gurney; took her to an emergency room)
Arka : (Waiting in front of the
room) Lily... (Massage his temple; walked back and forth) please God, save her.
(Sat on the chair near the room; chin on chest; moved his leg like a tailor;
holding his own hands) huufftt... (Sighed; looked his head up)
(On
the other side of the stage the doctor tried to save Lily)
(Lily
laid on the gurney and was rounded by the doctor and some nurses)
(The
patient monitor ringing continuously)
Doctor : Defibrillator!
Nurse :
(Turned
the defibrillator on) Ready doc!
Doctor : Start with 150 joule! One
two three! Ready! (Rubbed the defibrillator; pushed Lily’s chest with it)
Doctor : Up! 200 joule! One two
three! Ready! (Rubbed the defibrillator; pushed Lily’s chest with it)
(The
patient monitor still ringing continuously)
Doctor : (sweating; rubbed the
defibrillator) One more time! Give me 250 joule! One two three! Ready! (Pushed
Lily’s chest with defibrillator)
Beep… beep… beep… (The
patient monitor rang as Lil got her heartbeat back)
Doctor : Huft… (Sighed) Give her an intensive care.
Nurse :
Okay,
doc. (Nod)
Doctor : (Got out of the room)
/In
front of the room/
Arka : (Turned around as the
door opened; approached towards the doctor) Doc? Is she okay? How is her
condition right now?
Doctor : (Nod) she’ll be fine. But
we need to do surgery. This is might take a big risk but there’s no other way.
Arka : (Sighed) Do it, doc. Do
whatever that could make her getting well. (Looked at Lily through the glass
window)
Doctor : (Patted Arka’s shoulder)
We’ll try our best. Let her take some rests for now. (Leaving)
Arka :
(Nod)
thank you, doc.
Arka :
(Staring
at Lily through the glass window sadly) Get well pretty soon, Lily.

#Scene3 (Showed when Lily was
hospitalized)
Time
passed by as the second change into minute, minute change into hour, and hour
change into day. Just like how Carl Fredicksen took care of his beloved wife
Ellie. So Did Arka.
Arka : (Enter Lily’s room at the
hospital) Good morning Lily… (Smiled; sat beside her) Hey, don’t you want to
see the sun outside? Oh, look! I brought you a White Calla Lilly, your favorite
one… (Sighed) When would you open your eyes, Lily? Wake up…
Arka : (Placed the flower on the
table beside her; walked towards the window; opened the curtain; staring at
Lily; smiled) You has a good taste of flowers… represent you, indeed.
(The
lights dimmed represent it took a long time and the sun setting)
Arka :
(Lays
his head on the edge of the bed beside Lily; slept)
Lily : (Moved her fingers;
opened her eyes slowly) (Looked at Arka; smiled; whispering) Arka… thank you
(staring at the ceiling; a tear fell down through her cheeks; sobbed)
Arka : (Awoken by Lily’s sob;
massage his temple; blinked his eyes) Hemm… Lily? You woke up already? (Grabbed
her hands) hey, what’s wrong? Why are you crying, hum?
Lily :
(Shook
her head slowly) I’m okay
Arka :
Jio?
Should I tell him now?
Lily : No, please don’t. (Held
his hands tight) Wait just a little bit more. I wouldn’t be able to stay any
longer. I want him to hate me
Arka : Sstt… what are you
talking about? (Wiped her tears) You’ll getting better soon. (Pulled her to his
embrace)
Lily :
...
(Returned his hug tight;nod)
Arka : Ekhm umm… Lily? You know,
I can’t breathe. You hug me too tight. Do you miss me that much? (Pretending
out of breath)
Lily :
(Let
off her hug) uhh I’m sorry…
Arka :
(Hold
back his laugh) pfftt…
Lily :
Wait,
what? Are you kidding me? (Punched his shoulder gently; smiled)
Arka :
(Laughing;
messed her hair) keep your smile on your face, hum?
(While
Jio came and watching them from the outside)
Jio : (His step stopped; watching
them from the outside) (Exhaled; smirk) It should be me, making you laugh,
Lily. It should be me, hug you that way. It should be me.
Jio :
You
have found your happiness, huh? (Pressed his temple; leaving)

#Scene 4 (Showed the truth that Lily
never cheated and how Lily passed away)
/At
Jio’s apartment/
Jio : (Sat on the bed; stood
up; walk back and forth while massage his temple) Damn! (Punched the wall) You
said you just need a little time for my mistake but now what?! ARE YOU PLAYING
WITH ME?!! (Laughed sadly) It’s funny Lily, IT’S FUNNY!! You used that time to
have me replaced! Arrghh!!! (Rubbed his hair roughly)
/His phone rang/
Jio : (Grabbed the phone;
raised one of his eyebrow) Arka? ckk… (Answered the call) What?
Jio : (Eyes rounded; mouth
trembling) L-Lily… (The phone fell down) (Sat limply; pressed his head) (Took a
deep breath; grabbed his jacket; went to hospital in hurry)
/In
hospital/
Jio : (kept his step in hurry;
his pace slowed as saw Arka in front of him)
(They
bump each other; until few step passed Arka grabbed Jio’s hand)
Arka : (Sighed) I’m sorry for
all these lies. Honestly, Lily loves you. She really do. (Gave Jio a ring) She
told me to keep this for you. (Leaving)
Jio : (Staring at the ring on
his trembling hand; hold it tight; kissed it) Lily… (Rested on the wall;
squeezing his chest; cried; ran along the corridor to the surgery room)
/In
front of surgery room/
Jio :
(Walk slowly to the door; waiting while walk back and forth in front of the
door) Please God. Save her…
Jio :
(Turned
around as the door opened) (Walk limply) No… please…
/The
nurses pushed the gurney slowly with Lily who already passed away laid on it/
Jio : (Stopped the gurney;
looked at Lily’s pale face; cried) Lily, my little lady. You’re my all. You
shouldn’t have to lie… how could you leave me this way? At least you have to
say goodbye in a proper way… Wake up, Lily!

He
was still bleeding from the wounds of evening. He had reached the point of
pain. The word ‘That Should Be Me’ bothered his thought. Now, The monster took
the control of him.
/In
a messy room; every stuff was broken; bloods on the floor/
Jio : (Watched his reflection
on the broken mirror; smirk on face showed his satisfied) (Smelling the bloods
that covered his clothes and some on the neck too) (threw away the dirty scythe
that covered by bloods) Everything’s done, Lily…
(Arka
laid on the floor covered of his blood; passed away)
